All sales at AAA FilterFast are governed by distance selling under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have 14 calendar days after receiving your goods to return them - if you have changed your mind for any reason.

Your item must be unused & in the same condition that you received - in its original packaging together with internal information.

keep water as pure as possible - change at recommended times

Important
Water connection to your ice & water refrigerator must be installed by an qualified plumber or Fisher & Paykel trained and supported service technician and comply with all state &local laws.

Installation & use MUST comply with all state and local plumbing codes. Check with your local public works department for plumbing codes. You must follow their guidelines as you install the water filtration system.
Avoid serious illness or death, only connect filter to safe drinking water.

Water filter needs to changing when replacement light illuminates.

This will happen every 6 months.
If water filtration system has been allowed to freeze, replace filter cartridge. Failure to replace disposable filter at recommended intervals may lead to reduced filter performance & failure of the filter, causing property damage from water leakage or flooding.
In cases of excessively reduced filter life  - we recommend that you consult a local plumber or your water supplier for advice on suitable filtration requirements for water supplied to your home.

Filter replacement is the consumer's responsibility and will not be covered by the warranty except in the case of faulty parts or materials within the filter cartridge.
If water has not created ice for some time or ice has an unpleasant taste or odor dispose of ice and refer to the flushing instructions in this book. If unpleasant taste or odor persists, you may wish to fit a new filter cartridge.
Your water filtration system can withstand up to 120psi (827kPa) of water pressure. If a pressure reducing valve was supplied with your product, this must be installed before the water filtration system.

Do Not Install if water pressure exceeds 120psi (827kPa).
To reduce the risk associated with property damage due to water leakage or flooding:
Do Not Install systems in areas where ambient temperatures may go above 100°F (38°C) or drop below 33°F (0.6°C).
Do Not Install on hot water supply lines. The maximum operating water temperature of this filter system is 100°F (38°C).
Do Not Install where water hammer conditions may occur. If water hammer conditions exist, you must install a water hammer arrester.

Removing the old filter
Replacement filter for RF605 & RF203: 847200 for FPWF1 system

Note

not necessary to turn the water supply off when removing water filter.

Replacement filter for RF523 & RF172: 847201 for FPWF1 system It is easier to remove the water filter with the water turned on.

Filter located internally at back top corner of refrigerator.

1/ Find filter cover on back wall, top right of the refrigerator.

2/ Pull the tab (A) at the bottom of cover towards you to release. The cover will slide down upon release.
Note - Remove top shelf if you need more space when removing filter.

3/ Hold base of filter firmly & pull towards of you.

4/ Rotate filter counterclockwise 90° filter should release from filter head - if it does not - pull the filter towards you.

5/ Pull out the filter (D) to remove it from the filter head.
Discard the old filter. If the filter is difficult to remove, run water through the filter by dispensing water.
A small amount of water will drip after you remove filter. This is normal.

Watercare Recycling can recycle & re-purpose all types of plastic & aluminium water filters using their recycling facility in Harlow, Essex.

Watercare Recycling are able to regenerate the expired resin from within these water filters to be used in future manufacture.

We can all help reduce plastic waste from filters to zero. Components of any expired, unwanted or end-of-line water filters will be re-purposed or regenerated for future manufacture in products.

a/ Send your unwanted filters back to us – dry them out first please.

b/ Contact us with details on how many filters you want to return & we will have them collected from you free of charge.
